David de Gea will return to Manchester United pre-season training when he returns from his holiday in Madrid.

The Spain international is expected to sign for Real Madrid this summer after telling team-mates of his desire to leave Old Trafford.

He failed to respond to an offer of a £200,000-a-week new contract, but won't depart before United's preparations for the new season start next week.
