''Y3 Wo Krom'' hitmaker, Atom in a recent interview with Pluzz FM  reveals how much it cost him personally to boost his chances of winning the VGMAs Hiplife Song of the Year category in May.
“I entered for three categories and God willing I got all three.” Atom told Pluzz FM. “New Artist of the Year, Hiplife Song of the Year and Most Popular song of the Year and the song was popular enough to be in these categories.

“I won Hiplife Song of Year and I was very content with what I got. After I was announced as the winner for the Hiplife Song of Year I had wanted to go home because I believe I had won enough.

“Personally, I spent GHc 3000 for the Hiplife Song of the Year category.”
“I have two phones and so I loaded GHc1500 Cedis on each and texted all the money.”

Atom got 69% of the total votes to win Hiplife Song of Year.
